BIG GOLD FOOTBALL
The
Perrysburg Big Gold Football Program has formed an alliance with the The 12th
Man Club and the Perrysburg High School Varsity Football Program, its coaches,
and its players in an effort to continue the tradition of Perrysburg
Football. The Perrysburg Big Gold
Football Program has been a tradition of Perrysburg since the 1970’s. Its purpose is to provide an environment
which youth will be able to develop basic concepts of good sportsmanship;
experiences for youth that are fun and help them develop and maintain positive
attitudes; to assist young people to develop physically, emotionally, and
athletically; teach basic fundamentals of the game of football; to provide a
safe and healthy environment in which youth may experience the fun of
participating in the game of football; provide a forum in which youth, through
the experience of the game, can apply and demonstrate the skills they have
learned through practice, hard work, and dedication; provide a league made up
of teams that are equal in age, size, and skill; and to involve adults as
coaches, advisors, officials, fans, etc. to set examples of community
involvement and as good role models.
The
Perrysburg Big Gold Football Program part of the 12th Man Club is a
non-profit organization made up of volunteer community members. Its success depends on the involvement of
community adults, fans, coaches, advisors, and supporters. We encourage you to become involved in the
tradition that is Perrysburg Football.
